Hello Matthew,
For Mila's portrait, I have developed three possible compositions, each based on a different way of presenting her. They allow you to compare her posture, expression and overall presence before choosing the composition for the final portrait.
Below, I present these three composition proposals, followed by the complex pond setting applied separately to each one, and finally a collection of studio gradient backgrounds using Proposal 1.
The mock-ups can look a little like a collage at this stage, but the final painting will be entirely cohesive once all the details are created by hand.

Studio gradient backgrounds
These studio gradient backgrounds are shown using Proposal 1. Because the three proposals are very similar, this gives you a clear idea of how each colour will work. If you would like to see Proposal 2 or Proposal 3 with a particular gradient, please let me know and I will prepare it for you. If you have another colour in mind that is not included here, I can also present that option.
